Troubleshooting Connection Problems

The ability to control other desktops in the same office and in branches halfway across town is an easy and simple way to share important documents and to repair problems that people might be having with their computers. Remote desktop software is a growing trend that businesses are investing in because it helps to improve productivity.

As helpful as it is there are still problems that might occur over time. One of the most common that people will have is trying to stay connected to the network. This will require you to configure the settings on both ends of the network.

Before you begin you need to make sure that both the client and administrative computers have an active network connection. The administrator will be the one with the software installed directly onto it. If they are not connected via the Internet than the connection will be broken.
